Inspired by “It’s Alive”, a project whereby selected artists are given the opportunity to do alterations to a base design and create their own creative expressions. For this project, we chose a subject matter that was generic enough to allow us to adapt different characteristics to the copies that we created. We started with a 1/4 scale bust, sculpted the Alien character, molded it in silicone and cast up the copies needed. All together we created 7 spin off characters.
